Tally में काम करते समय कई बार ऐसा होता है कि हमने कुछ settings बदल दी होती हैं और system वैसा काम नहीं करता जैसा हम चाहते हैं। ऐसे में हमें जरूरत होती है configuration settings को reset या restore करने की। Tally में configuration settings reset करना बहुत ही आसान है और इसे कोई भी beginner user भी कर सकता है।
- सबसे पहले Tally को खोलिए।
- Gateway of Tally पर आने के बाद F12: Configure बटन दबाइए।
- अब उस section में जाइए जहाँ आप settings reset करना चाहते हैं।
- उदाहरण के लिए, General, Voucher Entry, Printing आदि।
- हर एक setting window के सबसे नीचे आपको एक विकल्प मिलेगा - Restore Default Values (default settings पर वापस जाएं)
- जैसे ही आप इसे select करते हैं, Tally आपसे confirmation पूछेगा।
- Yes चुनते ही वो सभी settings अपने original state (जैसे पहले थीं) में आ जाएंगी।
इस method का उपयोग आप किसी भी configuration section के लिए कर सकते हैं। यह feature खासतौर पर तब उपयोगी होता है जब आपने settings में changes किए हों और system ठीक से काम न कर रहा हो।
Understanding voucher configuration for smooth data entry in Hindi
Voucher entry Tally का core feature है और इसकी configuration सही करने से data entry बहुत smooth और तेज़ हो जाती है। चलिए समझते हैं कि voucher configuration कैसे set की जाती है और इसका क्या महत्व होता है।
- Gateway of Tally से F12: Configure दबाएं।
- अब Voucher Entry section को चुनिए।
यहाँ आपको कई options मिलेंगे:

आप अपनी सुविधा अनुसार इन settings को on या off कर सकते हैं। सही configuration से आपकी voucher entry का अनुभव बहुत आसान हो जाएगा।
Backup, restore, and path setup through configuration in Hindi
Tally में data loss को रोकने के लिए regular backup बहुत जरूरी होता है। Backup लेना और उसे restore करना बहुत ही आसान है। साथ ही आप default path भी configure कर सकते हैं जहाँ backup store हो।
- Gateway of Tally पर जाएं और Alt + F3 (Company Info) दबाएं।
- Backup चुनें।
- Backup window में दो field होंगी:
- Source: जहाँ से data लेना है (usually current company)
- Destination: जहाँ backup रखना है
- Path select करने के लिए manual folder location टाइप करें या Browse करें।
- Enter दबाते ही backup complete हो जाएगा।
Restore कैसे करें:
- Alt + F3 दबाएं और Restore चुनें।
- Source में वह folder डालें जहाँ backup रखा था।
- Destination में जहाँ data restore करना है वो path दें।
- Enter दबाते ही restoration complete हो जाएगा।
Default path configure करने के लिए:
- Gateway of Tally → F12: Configure → Data Configuration चुनें।
- वहाँ आपको Data path और Backup path सेट करने का विकल्प मिलेगा।
- आप अपनी सुविधा अनुसार वहाँ पर custom location डाल सकते हैं।
इस तरह backup और restore की प्रक्रिया आपके data की सुरक्षा के लिए बहुत जरूरी है।

TDL (Tally Definition Language) Tally का एक programming tool है जिससे आप Tally को customize कर सकते हैं। Add-ons ऐसे features होते हैं जो किसी specific आवश्यकता के अनुसार Tally में जोड़े जाते हैं। चलिए जानते हैं इनकी configuration कैसे की जाती है।
TDL File load करने की प्रक्रिया:
- Gateway of Tally पर जाएं और F12: Configure दबाएं।
- Product & Features पर जाएं।
- Alt + C दबाकर Configuration window खोलें।
- Use TDLs / Add-ons: Yes करें।
- List of TDL Files में अपना .tdl file का path add करें।
- Save करते ही यह load हो जाएगा।
TDL के फायदे:
- Custom invoice formats design करना
- Extra reports जोड़ना
- User-based rights set करना
- Auto SMS/email integration
Add-on Configuration:
- कुछ add-ons market में available होते हैं जो developers द्वारा बनाए जाते हैं।
- ये आपको Excel import/export, GST reports automation, barcode management जैसे advanced features देते हैं।
- Add-ons को install करके Tally में Product & Features में activate किया जा सकता है।
TDL और Add-ons दोनों ही tools हैं जिनकी मदद से आप Tally को अपनी business need के अनुसार modify कर सकते हैं। इन्हें configure करने के लिए थोड़ा technical knowledge होना जरूरी है, लेकिन एक बार समझ में आ जाए तो बहुत उपयोगी हैं।
